I'm Ready

What does it mean to say, "I'm ready"? As I prepare to head to the airport, I thought..."I'm ready". But isn't it strange that we say we things like "I'm ready for anything" or "I'm ready for the unexpected"? I mean, it just seems strange to say that we are ready for what we don't know. How can we prepare and be ready if we aren't 100% sure what we are preparing for? Well, I think it mostly comes down to faith...we are ready to encounter what the journey has for us. We have all packed and studied and rested in order to prepare for what lies ahead. My prayer for all of us is that we, through faith in God, actually are ready emotionally, physically, and spiritually for what the journey to and in Honduras will bring. Here I guess is where the phrase "putting your faith into action" really comes to life. Honduras...here we come! :)
