We have ten days till our team departs for Honduras to begin our 2011 Mission Trip. Being this close to the trip, today was the perfect day for our "Packing Party" and final team meeting. During this 'party', our team worked together for the first time to pack extra suitcases full of supplies and get last minute details.
Each team member is asked to bring a suitcase which is then filled with medical supplies, school and education supplies, and packaged food for our week in Honduras. All together, our team packed approximately 1000 pounds of materials and supplies to be used to help the people of La Ceiba, El Pino, and Nuevo de Julio. While this time isn't a long meeting, it is the first step in building relationships with the members of the team that we will be working along side while in Honduras.
As we enter the last few days before leaving, we ask that you will take time to pray for the work that will be done, our safe travels, and the hearts of both the team and the Honduran people we are going to meet.
